Slowly but surely, Florence Pugh is coming into her own as a style star. As with any up-and-coming talent, there were a few misses at the start and a few bold risks during the Black Widow era (TBT the pink tips). But ever since the clock struck 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2022, Miss Flo has delivered nothing but hits.
She went Barbiecore pink in August, delivered glittery goth on the Venice red carpet in September, and yes, we’re as obsessed as you were with the much-discussed purple moment. Just last week she stepped out in a sheer maxi skirt and collared crop top that had us positively thirsty. And on Friday, October 7, she appeared in another winning look: a coral gown with whimsical bird accents.
The gown features a sheer skirt that floats elegantly behind her, and stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray kept it classy on the accessories with a diamond bracelet, ring, and earrings. Miss Flo finished off the outfit with her ever-present septum piercing and the wet-look hair, which she’s been embracing lately.
This color is so spring, which is why wearing it to the UK premiere of her new movie The Wonder is exactly the kind of fresh, unexpected move we love to see. It’s not a shocking dress, but it is surprising at this time of year. Most important, she looks lovely.
Brushed eyebrows, we see you! Her lips also match the dress. Simple and sweet.
Oh, and did we mention she walked the red carpet with her grandmother? Too cute.
Let’s see that skirt again…
Though she didn’t carry it on the red carpet, the outfit also included a purse that nods to the somewhat avian feel of the dress: a small wristlet shaped like a birdcage with a pink bird inside.
God help me, is she having…fun? With fashion? Florence Pugh, whatever vitamins you’ve been taking, keep it up. You’re glowing.
