Megan Fox is keeping Barbiecore alive.
On December 4, Fox hit up the Audacy Beach Festival in Fort Lauderdale wearing an underboob-baring hot pink crop top, Barbie-pink cargo pants, pink pointed-toe heels, and an over-the-top feathered pink hat. I don’t know what occupation Mattell would use to sell this Barbie, but I have a feeling they’d find a way. All that’s missing is a pink convertible and a dream house.
Fox was joined by fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, who was performing at the event. Though significantly less pink, the rapper’s outfit was equally ostentatious, featuring a sheer, bedazzled black top, sparkling black jeans, and a matching belt. Of course, MGK managed to coordinate with Fox through his hot pink manicure.
Though most of her look feels purely Megan Fox, the pink hat could be seen as a direct homage to Pamela Anderson, who wore a similar bucket hat by designer Ivy Supersonic to the 1999 MTV VMAs. However, she paired the look with a white corset and beaded pants.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly previously dressed as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee Jones for the Casamigos Halloween Party in Beverly Hills on October 28. For her costume, Fox got wore a replica of a pink and red latex minidress worn by Anderson back in 1995, which she paired with PVC platform pumps and a blonde wig. MGK channeled the Mötley Crüe drummer in a black wig, a white tank top, and leather pants.
Who knows what iconic piece of Anderson’s wardrobe Fox will replicate next? Perhaps she’ll dye the Baywatch swimsuit pink.
