As for Paris? She delivered yet another wild sartorial moment to add to her repertoire.
You’ve heard of the belted dress, but Fox’s latest look brings an entirely different meaning to the term. The striking black leather minidress she wore in Paris on Thursday, March 2, is by the up-and-coming Swedish label Hodakova and meticulously constructed from several repurposed belts sewn together vertically.
The remainder of Fox’s ensemble comprised a black leather trench coat with silver hardware accents, a black leather mini bag, and black leather pumps. The unconventional dress follows a recent outing from Fox in a look fashioned entirely from denim waistbands.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen a fashion plate finding less than traditional uses for belts in recent days. Last week in Milan, Kim Kardashian wore a beige leather Dolce & Gabbana two-piece set adorned with belts (horizontally, FYI) while visiting the Italian brand’s via Montenapoleone flagship store.
