Crystal bras have become something of a signature for Zoë Kravitz.
At the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2019, she memorably wore a chain mail bralette from Elsa Peretti’s collection for Tiffany & Co., crafted in 18-karat gold. And two years later, at the Met Gala, she took to the red carpet in a crystal mesh Saint Laurent gown with a built-in triangle bra.
On 27 April, the actor revived her signature statement look at the opening of a new Tiffany & Co. store in New York. A naked dress? Not for Kravitz, who instead gave office attire a bad-girl makeover with one of her beloved sparkly bras. She wore a silver iteration with an unbuttoned white shirt, a pencil skirt, and black court shoes.
Zoë Kravitz is right on trend. Pencil skirts were a key theme of the autumn-winter 2023 collections, seen at Saint Laurent, Dior, and Versace, while Kate Middleton–esque black court shoes made an unexpected comeback on the catwalks too.
Zoë proved that with the right styling, such ostensibly sensible pieces can look anything but staid. Crystal bra, anyone?
