A federal court has ordered Calvine Klein Inc. to stop running a social media advertising campaign for its vitamin C serum that disparages competitor Klein-Becker USA LLC’s CalPure Vitamin C Serum.
The preliminary injunction was issued by Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on July 20, 2023, after Klein-Becker sued Calvine Klein for false advertising and unfair competition.
