Anine Bing opens second London standalone store
LA-based label Anine Bing has opening its second London standalone store. The women’s fashion retailer, co-founded by Anine and Nicolai Bing,“focuses on everyday wardrobe essentials and investment pieces for modern women” and has just opened in Chelsea at 8 Symons Street.
The 1,300 sq ft space, bigger than its usual retail store footprint, is situated just off Sloane Square. It follows the opening of its London debut store in Mayfair in December 2018.
The “minimalist aesthetic” of the store reflects “Anine’s Scandinavian simplicity with American energy”.
The store’s interior is flooded with natural light, contrasted with industrial surfaces, “allowing the space to feel like a downtown Los Angeles warehouse”.
The all-white space comes with marble, black and gold accents and dressed in black and white photographs, Turkish rugs and a selection of plants.
The new London opening also coincides with the launch of the brand’s spring/summer 2022 collection, including denim, accessories, sportswear and jewellery all featuring at the Chelsea store. Prices start at £55 for lingerie.
The opening coincides with the brand’s 10th anniversary year, and includes a plan to open 10 new brick and mortar stores around the world in celebration of the occasion.
