Hailey Bieber’s latest look is basically a modern take on Penelope Featherington’s go-to Bridgerton style.
In an Instagram post from July 18, the model posed in a stunning corset dress in Lady Whistledown’s favored season 2 color: green. “Love an avocado moment 🥑,” Bieber captioned the post. One interesting detail about the garment is that its exposed boning continues past the torso on the back and sides of the dress, giving it a distinctly sultry vibe. Hailey complemented the dress’s silver hardware with a pair of statement earrings, wearing her hair back in a messy-chic updo.
The other theme of the look was glossy. Not only did Hailey Bieber pack on the shine on her lips, but her entire body took on her signature “glazed donut skin” glow.

“This is a texture that hasn’t been seen a lot in the last decade,” makeup artist Jamie Greenberg said of the beauty technique in April. “The glazed look is usually a signal of youthful skin—the youth are really embracing the gleam of a glazed skin look, and everyone is following suit.”
To get the look for yourself, Greenberg recommends prepping your skin with a face oil or a balm—she likes Furtuna Skin’s Replenishing Balm and Skinowl’s Selenite Gloss. On top of that, you can up the shine by mixing an oil into your foundation or pressing a small amount of oil into your skin after applying your makeup.
For the oil-averse, she suggests Kevyn Aucoin’s Glass Glow Gloss for the glazed effect. “I love to layer with a little color too,” she says. “I like to place JamieMakeup’s Blighlighter as a first step and the Glass Glow on top.”
The key is restraint. “You should be hitting the high points of the face,” says Greenberg. “The entire face shouldn’t look like glass or wet—the high points should be the most wet, and your T-zone can have a light sheen.”
We’d say Hailey Bieber more than pulled it off.
