Jennifer Lopez says bigger is better, at least according to her latest outfit.
On Wednesday, July 13, J.Lo was photographed in Los Angeles wearing an oversized flannel shirt jacket (“shacket” if you’re trendy) with a sherpa collar, baggy blue jeans, and white-soled work boots. It’s very much “Jenny From the Block” if the “block” is somewhere in the Hollywood Hills in 2022 as opposed to the Bronx in the 1990s.
She styled her hair in a sleek pony and topped off the look with her two favorite accessories: oversize hoop earrings and aviator sunglasses.
If you’re anything like me, you may have wondered, Wait, is that Ben Affleck’s shacket? Stealing from your fiancé’s wardrobe is a classic move, and Affleck’s love of flannels is second only to his love for J.Lo (and his kids, probably). But nope, Lopez’s shacket is a women’s style from Coach, which makes, since she’s an ambassador for the brand.
What will never cease to amaze me is not her style, necessarily, but Jennifer Lopez’s immunity to heat. Despite the warm weather in L.A. (it was in the mid-70s when this photo was taken), J.Lo seems to be dressed for pumpkin-spice season. This after she was spotted last week wearing a black (!) turtleneck (!) while outdoor (!) shopping with Affleck.
Wherever J.Lo heads next, I hope there’s air conditioning.
