Kristen Stewart is all about the see-through sheer look lately.
On March 11, the actor attended a screening of her Oscar-nominated Princess Diana biopic Spencer in New York City, wearing a shredded white T-shirt over a black bra and chunky silver jewelry. She topped off the edgy look with a black jacket and pants, white crew socks, and gray sneakers. As for her hair, Stewart kept the chill vibes going with a messy bun. Overall the look was as cool, casual, and effortless as K.Stew herself.
Kristen Stewart seems to be all about the see-through aesthetic recently. On March 4 the Oscar nominee attended the 37th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where she was awarded the American Riviera Award for her achievements and contributions to the film industry. Unlike her casual T-shirt look, Stewart accepted the prestigious honor in head-to-toe Chanel, wearing a sheer floor-length black dress with sequins and tulle at the waist and hips over a black bra.
Once again her hair was thrown up in a simple ponytail, while her makeup look consisted of a slightly smoky taupe eye shadow with a small wing, and peachy lips and cheeks.
“Thank you for acknowledging me at this time in my life,” Stewart said in her acceptance speech, per . “I’m in such a good place to receive it.”
Earlier in March, Stewart shared an open letter regarding the profound effect Princess Diana has had on her life. “I am deeply thankful for her life and even as an ‘outsider’ gutted by the loss,” she wrote. “Luckily, what I learned is that with Diana Spencer there is grief but there is no absence. She will always be a part of a foundational way forward, in love. Finding that connection helped me come to a deeper understanding of the mental health struggles we are all vulnerable to. The need for us to be open and to talk about them. Address them. And not hide from them. To not hide from ourselves. From each other. That actually is vital.”
