Blackpink opens pop-up experience in NYC
Blackpink announced on Wednesday that it is bringing its ‘Born Pink
The global pop-up experience, which started in London this past June and will be popping up in LA later this summer, will give fans access to an added dimension of the group’s record breaking Born Pink World Tour with limited-edition merchandise.
Japanese graphic artist, Verdy, served as the artistic director for the pop-up, which will include some New York-exclusive styles, premium T-shirts, hoodies, hats and accessories, that merge his distinct artistic touch with Blackpink’s trendsetting aesthetic.
Verdy is a graphic artist from Osaka, Japan who currently resides in Tokyo. He is notably known for his iconic projects Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, his panda rabbit character Vick and most recently Visty. Verdy has also previously worked with brands such as NikeInstagramDover Street Market
The three-day event is produced by Bravado, Universal MusicAmerican Express
