The show must go on. On July 30, J.Lo officially performed her first show since becoming Jennifer Lopez Affleck.
This Saturday, Lopez returned to the stage for the LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF charity gala in Capri, Italy, following her whirlwind Las Vegas wedding and subsequent Paris honeymoon with husband Ben Affleck. Pulling out all the stops, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer wore a sparkly, sheer bodysuit under a zebra-print bra top, matching flared and feathered pants, and a dramatic feathered robe. According to , the daring look was put up for auction following the performance to benefit the Ukrainian relief effort.
Per TMZ, Lopez also performed an outfit change mid-set, opting to remove the zebra print ensemble altogether, revealing just the bodysuit, nude bra, and sparkling fishnets underneath (see those photos here).
Other guests in attendance included Leonardo DiCaprio, Naomi Campbell, Jamie Foxx, Jared Leto, and Vanessa Hudgens, as well as Lopez’s fellow musical guests Diplo, Sofia Carson, and DJ Cruz.
It seems Affleck was not in attendance and was likely back in L.A. filming his latest movie while his new wife was doing her thing in Italy. Though he didn’t get to see this particular jaw-dropping look, Lopez wore plenty of other covetable ensembles during their Paris honeymoon earlier this month.
This all comes after Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck held a secret, intimate wedding ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16. “Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,” Lopez shared in her “On the JLo” newsletter. “Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”
The moment, Lopez confirmed, was “exactly what we wanted.”
