Halle Berry saw Harry Styles’s weekend-one Coachella look and said “gimme.”
On April 28, the 55-year-old actor shared a series of Instagram photos in a sexy sequined bodysuit with flared pants and an abs-bearing neckline. “Life ain’t always perfect but this damn jumpsuit is,” she captioned the post. Berry and stylist Lindsay Flores paired the sultry look with double hoop earrings by Mara Paris and gold pieces by Pasquale Bruni. As for hair, Berry let the wind sweep her streaked-blonde pixie in front of her face for that effortless cool factor.

Of course, I can’t help but wonder if Berry was at all inspired by the rainbow sequined jumpsuit Harry Styles wore for his debut performance at Coachella. Notably, both Styles and Berry rocked gold cross necklaces with their shiny ensembles. The deep cut of Styles’s look also allowed him to show off his tattoos while performing “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “You’re Still the One” with ’90s country music legend Shania Twain.
Fashion buddies or not, Halle Berry is known for taking bold swings and standing by them…even after 24 years.
In early April, Twitter user Xay Yarbroux shared a photo of Berry circa 1998, when the trendsetter hit up a Las Vegas party in a sheer dress (currently back in style by popular demand) and a feathered bixie (a cross between a bob and a pixie cut). “Halle looks like she about to sing ‘a single mom who works too hard, who loves her kids and never stops,’” he wrote in the now viral tweet comparing Berry’s look to Reba McEntire’s everlasting auburn hairstyle.
As you can see, Halle Berry looked just as good in 1998 as she does today and the Catwoman star was completely unphased by the joke. In response, Berry quote tweeted the pic, writing, “…and what about it? 😂”
